Technologies
Roll forming is a manufacturing process that forms metal strips into profiles with a wide spread of shapes, bends and angles. Roll forming is suitable for the use of steel (galvanized, prepainted, stainless) or aluminum, copper, titanium.
This production system is ideal for manufacturing large quantities of profiles, and when long sizes are requested (up to 12.000 mm). Sika expertise is spread and across several industrial sectors including building, agriculture, machinery, furniture, fences, lifts, safety closures, photovoltaic, industrial roofs, etc.
Punching
Holes and slots can be punched either on the flat strip prior to the forming or on the section after forming with a fully automatic process through electronic check-system.
SIKA uses different kind of machines for the steel and other metals working: therefore it has all the necessary technologies which allow the customer, by only sending the drawing, to obtain the definitive profile.
We realize exclusively special profiles, of complex sections where high quality is required.
We can carry out fully automatic, several processes such as: shearing, welding, drawn-punching, seaming, clinching and many other processes, all following customers’ needs. Punching is completely controlled by NC systems, performing workings by drawing with decimal precision.
HF Welding
